Most of our guests prefer to stay at the retreat to rest, play and be pampered or take an occasional trip to Mojacar Pueblo and the stunning local beaches and local chiringuitos however if you are looking for an excursion then there are plenty of options including learning to scuba dive, horse-riding, boat trips, water park, go-karting, golf, crazy golf, tennis, hiking, mountain-biking, paint-balling and wake-boarding.

MINI HOLLYWOOD

Located in the Tabernas Desert, Mini Hollywood is the only desert area on the European continent and is home to ‘Mini Hollywood’ where films including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Exodus and most recently, Game of Thrones were filmed.

CABO DE GATA NATIONAL PARK

Cabo de Gata is Andaucia’s largest national park and is just 45 minutes from La Finca Paradiso. Miles of wild, exposed landscape line the coast and just off the shore are stunning reefs which make it an idea place for diving and underwater exploration. We recommend hiring a boat to take you to some of the worlds most stunning secluded beaches.

GRANADA

Granada can be reached within a couple of hours and is a cultural day-trip that is worth doing.

A vibrant, bustling city with great shops and restaurants and home to the infamous Alhambra which is a stunning hilltop fortress. Be sure to ask us to book your tickets in advance as it does get fully-booked in season.

Everyone needs and should honour themselves with some time out from their routine and go on a retreat. The finca is genuine paradise. The architecture, colours, light, the best food in the world formulated by the loving, nurturing people who run it. I loved it and hope to be back.

As a painting tutor, what I require from a venue is not only surroundings that will inspire my students, but a tranquil and supportive atmosphere that enables them to concentrate on their creativity and me to get on with my teaching. La Finca Paradiso fulfils those criteria admirably. Added to that, cuisine and comfort are clearly top priorities at the finca, while everyone who works there is committed to providing a personal service to each and every guest. After 5 years to going to different venues in Italy, France and Spain, and enjoying them, I can honestly say we have found a wonderful venue. The standard of food, guest relations, ambience, welcome and general feel of La Finca Paradiso was second-to-none. As soon as you arrive you start to relax unwind and be at one with the exquisite gardens - lying by the pool listing to the birds, to the relaxing mood music for dinner, the attention to detail was wonderful The outstanding food was superb and all dietary requirements were catered for seamlessly. The accommodation ranged from good-sized shared rooms to a fantastic main suite in the finca. I would sincerely recommend La Finca Paradiso to any instructor looking to take a group on a retreat.

The team made the whole experience wonderful. Katie is a top-class chef and the food is amazing- a riot of flavour and colour. The rooms and gardens are wonderful, the massage was the best I've ever had. But most importantly the people who run the place do it with genuine love and care which makes the retreat healing, nurturing and peaceful.
