talented team of practitioners.
We are delighted to offer these workshops to our retreat hosts as a bolt-on to your retreat or to individual
guests on a 1-2-1 basis.

How to use Crystals to benefit your everyday Life
Hosted by Jackie Winters ||| €50 per person ||| 2.5 hours
This is an interactive workshop offering information and hands-on experience on how to use crystals effectively to enhance your daily life. Jackie will reveal the mystery on how crystal therapy actually works; explain how to store crystals, prepare them for use and translate New-Age terminology. Crystals are not always deemed a credible therapy but when you learn where scientists use them in many areas of your modern life you may be surprised.
We will look at how to use crystals:
· As a daily beauty regime (many celebrities swear by this non-invasive form of therapy and almost all beauty products contain crushed minerals and crystals, the latest trend being quartz-based facials)
· To aid common ailments , such as headaches, teething, toothache, sore throats, back pain, asthma, dyslexia, high blood pressure, common cold, mental pressure, worries, improve focus… And much more
· To produce healthy plant life; (One of my students won a marrow contest after using crystals on his prize marrow!)
· Animal wellbeing: this is an area close to my heart as we volunteer our services at a horse sanctuary and have had immense success.
Come and join us to experience a crystal pamper session, head massage and full facial or back massage. The results will leave you feeling uplifted, deeply relaxed, and mentally, emotionally and physically lighter. The sense of overall wellbeing will surprise you.
What you need to bring: all crystals will be supplied for the session however you may wish to make notes so a pad and pen may be handy. Handouts will be issued to reflect upon your day.

Learn how to meditate

Jackie trained in meditation at a monastery and has some simple techniques to offer you that will reap great reward.
Meditation is an approach to training the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to training the body. But many meditation techniques exist — so how do you learn how to meditate? It is extremely difficult for a beginner to sit for hours and think of nothing or have an “empty mind” so joining a class will help you find what is the correct way for you by exploring various techniques.
CONCENTRATION MEDITATION
This involves focusing on a single point, following the breath, repeating a single word or mantra, staring at a candle flame, listening to a repetitive gong, or counting beads on a mala. Since focusing the mind can be challenging, a beginner might meditate for only a few minutes and then work up to longer durations. Through this process, your ability to concentrate improves.
MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
Mindfulness meditation encourages you to become a witness of your own mind and observe wandering thoughts as they drift through. The intention is not to get involved with the thoughts or to judge them, but simply to be aware of each mental note as it arises. Judgemental thoughts of good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant seem to disappear as you become the observer and not a participant in your thought activity. With practice, an inner balance develops.

Learn to make a dreamcatcher to weave your dreams into reality

Hang your Dreamcatcher above your bed so that it can work its magic for you and literally catch your thoughts and hold them safe for you within the sacred spiders web and circle of life. All good dreams gently slide down the soft feathers into your heart and life.
In this workshop you will learn how to knot and make your own
special dreamcatcher weaving in the elements and placing you own prayers, blessings and affirmations into your web in a peaceful space of guided meditation and ceremony.

In this workshop you will connect to your physical, energetic and spiritual body and become one with your breath, movement and lifeforce energy field. Nicky Mainstone ||| €400 per person ||| 15 Hours
Learn how to balance body energy with a 14-muscle test, fix as you go, balance, simple pain techniques, emotional stress release, posture awareness and much more!
15 hours can be split as required, i.e. 3 hours per day for 5 days.
